From Liberia to Paraguay, from Uganda to the Philippines, from the Amazon to the Balkans — LRN shares stories of communities who refused to be displaced, defenders who refused to be silenced, and a global movement that stood with them every step of the way.
None of it happened without you.
As we look to the next decade, we are proud to share that our coalition is growing. Indigenous Peoples Rights International (IPRI) is joining us as a new co-convenor, bringing expertise to protect and advance Indigenous Peoples’ rights, and to unite and amplify the call for justice for victims of criminalisation and impunity. Together with Namati, which has spent over a decade walking with communities to know, use, and shape the law. Namati also convenes the Grassroots Justice Network – a global community of 20,000 members representing over 4,600 organizations from 189 countries. Alongside with Oxfam, and the International Land Coalition, IPRI and Namati strengthen our collective ability to make the case for land rights where it matters most.
Our commitment remains the same: to stand alongside grassroots organisations, land defenders, and the Indigenous Peoples and local communities who are the heart of this movement. With a broader coalition behind us, we carry that commitment forward with renewed determination.
The challenges ahead are real — shrinking democratic spaces, growing threats to defenders, and land rights still unrecognised for millions. But so is the movement.
Thank you for supporting us for the past ten years. We look forward to the next ten, together.
