“Sambilog: The fight for land rights in the Philippines” is a graphic comic inspired by the lived experience of Malagyin residents. It shows the resistance against corporate land grabs as a testament to the courage of communities defending their homes, culture, and future. Through storytelling, Land Rights Now, PAKISAMA, ILC Asia and the Bugsuk Movement aim to amplify the voices of an island in the Philippines facing injustice and represent how they are fighting it.
